A FATHER LIKE NO OTHER: A FATHER’S DAY TRIBUTE TO DADDY FORCHAP

Today and always, I pay a very special tribute to one of the most remarkable and exceptional dads our world has ever known… a father any child would dream of having: my super dad, Daddy William Forchap.

He was a daddy to every child he encountered. There’s simply no other dad like Daddy Forchap on this planet. I am tremendously blessed and privileged to have been his little princess and Daddy’s girl (actually, Daddy’s handbag, as I was fondly called – I literally went almost everywhere with him). He lives on in me and my siblings to this day.

I promised to share some of my cherished moments and memories with him, so here we go. Daddy was incredibly intelligent, wise, humble, kind, soft-spoken, deeply loving, gentle, forgiving, blind and naïve to evil – he had the pure heart of a child and was truly charismatic and compassionate.

Dad was my first love, my hero, and my number one role model – and he continues to be, long after leaving this world.
